, our steady leader, who calmed things down with her gentle but firm voice: “Alright team, let’s focus and make this day count.” ✨ Right then, my brother-in-crime
jump on a rock, dancing and singing at the top of her lungs: "The monster won’t scare us, but my dance moves might, now follow my lead!"
Moments later, a giant digital bug roared, but the team combined their strengths: chocolate wisdom, grapeyard speed, bravery, style, budgeting, optimism, motivation, and comedy. Together, they squashed the bug and proved one truth: Every one holds power, but united, we're unstoppable. 😊💪
[a short story from 2006, slightly updated and localized for the 22nd century]
D-Moll - Peach Flavoured [Mon Apr 3, 2006, 7:15 PM ] Yesterday was a day indeed but not the day that we needed. In fact, it was a day nobody had even expected. Everybody checking their calendar was in absolute shock yet slightly amazed because it must have been the most unexpected day the human race had ever witnessed.
It was just there.
So what are you expected to do on a day you did not expect? You have nothing cool planned at all and none of your imaginary friends are available. You grab the popcorn and take the chance to spy on people. Incredibly ludo to watch folks getting forced into a calendar event which they clearly didn't feel the need for. Can't we just chill for once?
I then climbed the biggest building I could find to get a better view of the city. I stood there, only to realise that the entire city really was made out of cardboard. "What a clever disguise", I thought, only to get dickstrucked that it was indeed CardBoardBoxDay . What a mind-numbing surprise to see CardBoardBoxDay and the least expected day humanity had ever witnessed crossing on the same twentyfour hour epoch.
Of course my amazement soon was extinguished by the fact that I had forgotten my boxcutter. Just my luck.
My body then fully forced me into a defiance state by curling into a fetus-position till the rest of the day. Time passed and the pubic hair grew.
On the next day, which I´d like to call "today" I was ready to go for a Double Whammy Slampig DX, like I always do after a hefty wombo-combo. and I got none...
Which made me angry enough to forbid myself the piano playing. That did not help the situation, but it prevented me from playing the D-Moll which at this very moment could have caused an earth-twerk strong enough to break about every glass in my room. And seeing the champagne glasses were filled with [REDACTED] (that I only keep to prevent or fuel the apocalypse as soon as she arrives) I did not feel like it at all.
Instead I started mumbling in foreign tongues which the birds and their nerds must've heard cause in my peripheral vision i noticed them giving me the evil eye, as I then began searching for the oven clay. I wasn't in the mood for modelling, I just needed to smell the clay.
After a good second worth of searching I gave up and drowned myself in IceTea Peach.
