1️⃣. Do you believe people always deserve a second chance?
🌸I believe people can deserve a second chance—but not automatically. It depends on the sincerity of their remorse and the effort they make to change. A second chance isn’t a right—it’s a gift. I’ve been in situations where I gave people another chance, only to be let down again. But I’ve also seen how one opportunity to try again can completely transform a person’s life.
One personal experience that shaped this belief was when I hurt someone close to me out of anger. They forgave me, even when I didn’t expect it. That moment changed me. Their forgiveness made me want to be better. That’s the power of a second chance—it can plant the seed of growth.
2️⃣. Let’s talk about love.
Scenario: Your partner has wronged you or cheated on you, and now they’re asking for forgiveness/second chance?
🌸Honestly? It would break me. Cheating isn’t just a mistake—it’s a choice that betrays trust. For me, love is rooted in respect and loyalty. I might forgive for my own peace, but taking them back? That’s a different story.
Trust, once shattered like that, is almost impossible to rebuild. I would need to see deep, long-term change, not just words. And even then, I don’t know if I’d be able to open my heart again the same way. I’d rather heal alone than pretend everything is okay.
3️⃣. How about in family?
Scenario: Years of silence and grudges—would I make up with a family member?
🌸Yes. Without hesitation. Family is different. Time is cruel—it steals chances we think we’ll always have. I wouldn’t want to live with the weight of “what if” after losing someone.
Even if we don’t go back to how we were, I’d want peace. I’d want them to know I care, despite everything. Life is short. Sometimes, saying “I miss you” is more important than being right.
