Made the trek over to CNP this weekend to play in a well organized MLP event! Drafted the bestest team ever!!! Katie McClain, Kaulen Shorf, and Gina Myrick.
We went 3-0 on the first day to get to the semis. This afternoon we won our match to get to the gold medal match. Tough competition, but team "simply smashing" was on today and came home with the %.
What a great couple days - starting out with me and Mike Margolin taking a lesson from Travis!! And then having the hostess with the mostest - Renee Chang!!

Played pickleball this last week in Scottsdale! Started off the tournament playing mens 4.5 with never met before Jeffrey Morris from Nashville. What a treat this was. We stepped on the court day 1 and immediately clicked! We had some epic points/games. Made it to the gold match but ran into some amazing competitors and took home 🥈. Next day, played with a good friend and fierce competitor - Laree Mancour. Again, we battled and battled and were 2 points short of making it to the gold match, but The duke and Laurie Burgett were too strong. We finished strong and took home 🥉. Today, feeling a bit tired had singles to play. Somehow, I was able to do some things right and got 🥇. What a great couple days - needed sunshine for a couple days, playing rec ball at Horizon Park and meeting a bunch of new friends!! Always a +
