ELI5: why do astronauts go to the rocket so early?
i, like most people, am following the artemis ii mission very closely. i was watching the launch live stream, and noticed that the astronauts went to sit in the crew pod four hours early. why do they do this? what do they do in all that time, just sit there? or are they preparing the controls?
