#OffspringOptional

1.Personal Stance on Aging Without Offspring -
For me, growing old without children is not a problem - it is a valid personal choice. Life is not one-size-fits-all. Some people find purpose in raising their own children, while others builds meaningful lives in different ways. In my case, my husband and I chose a path where we were able to help and support others, like sending people to school and seeing them become successful. That, for me is also a form of legacy and fulfillment.

2. Define "Aging Well"
Aging well, for me, means living a life with peace, purpose and stability - emotionally, financially and mentally. It is not just about having children to take care of you, but about building a life where you are secure, surrounded by people who value you and proud of what you have accomplished. Society defines aging well as having a family of your own, but I believe its more about how you lived your life and how you impacted others.

3. Common Sayings/Beliefs
One common saying I often hear: "ο»Ώ Its Unfortunate that you don't have
children" . ο»Ώ But for me, its not something to feel sorry about. Life is not measured by having children alone. There are many ways to give love, support and purpose to others.

4. Social Assumptions
One common assumptions is that people without children will be lonely or have no one to care for them when you grow
old. But that's not always true. Relationships are not limited to having biological children. Family can, also be the people you helped, loved, and supported along the way.

ο»ΏFULFILLED - is my chosen one-word and i represents it with a tree full of branches. For me, the tree symbolizes growth, life and the paths we take. Even without having children of my own, my life has grown in many meaningful ways - just like the branches of a tree. Every branch represents the people we have helped and supported, including those we guided and sent to school who are now successful.
Fullfillment is not limited to having your own child, but also in the lives you have touched and helped grow.

You've a heart of a mom and that's more than enough! I admire your thoughts dear, I had the world's best mom but I still wish to have a mom like you! you're right, you give love and support and only giving birth is not enough to be a mother, I saw many biological mothers torture their kids and don't even know how to love and take care of children. At my case, many of my friends gave birth child and happily married, sometimes I feel the emptiness, Honestly! But when I recall some behavior of children to their parents at their old age, I think having no kids is fine even better than having such ungrateful kids. Sorry I wrote such big comment because it made me emotional. We women are naturally mother for having deep affection and love in our heart. πŸ€—πŸ₯°β€οΈ

We both had accepted what God wanted us to be dear... Childless.... When i still single, i didn't think of getting married at all because i was already stable, i feel like i dont need a man in my life. My mother pushed me to get married but i just smiled.. I live on my own and i had a housemaid because i was occupied with work... But i realized my househelper has nothing to do at home just watching TV after doing the chores. So i offered her to send her to college until she graduated. How i ended with my marriage, maybe God's will too..., 😊 Another househelper we had after i got married also sent to college, when she graduated, my niece came in, then i sent her to college too then graduated. Finally left us to have life of her own. So only me and now here at home 😍
