This exercise seems easy, but if you have lower back pain, I couldn't straighten up completely 😅. Sorry about the socks 🧦, I was a bit cold. At home, we only heat to 20 degrees. Heating is expensive and it's only 12 degrees outside ❄️
Cozy yoga is the best kind of yoga! Socks approved ! 🧦❄️🙌 Next time try sitting on a pillow, elevating the hips works like magic to help you straighten up without the strain. Great job, Roman! Thank you so much for joining 🙏🧘🫶
Thank you. You are right my friend. When your back hurts, it's hard to do anything, but you have to try to strengthen your muscles to get rid of the pain 😅💙
Twenty degrees inside while it is 12 outside is a tight little budget, and then the pose still asks you to straighten. Socks are the least of it. Did the lower back ease once you stopped, or is it still talking through the rest of #week15 ?
This doesn't seem to have helped my back pain, but I see hope in the barbell exercise I showed in the previous post #movevideo . Strengthening the back muscles can relieve tension in the lower back and eliminate pain.
that simpler #yogafrom0 day sat easier than this one, and forcing a full straighten with a sore lower back was never going to feel kind. The barbell work you showed in #movevideo is a different bet: build the muscles that hold the back instead of chasing the stretch that already hurts. Has that lift actually eased the tension yet, or is the hope still mostly on paper?
You're right, the barbell lift up and down helped me a bit, but I need to do a few more sets of that exercise and also drink a few protein drinks. Some take pain pills and some exercise. What is better for the body? Exercise of course.
Exercise, if the back still lets you finish the set. More barbell only counts if you can straighten after, and a protein drink will not undo a room held at 20 degrees. The socks already filed that complaint.
the socks were just the cold talking. Twenty degrees inside, twelve outside, and a lower back that still would not straighten is the actual bit. Entertaining is generous when the fold never quite finished.
