Need help with a strange behavior of a smart light
I have a smart light in my office that is connected to Alexa and part of my Office group. Within the app, I can turn on/off Office lights no problem. They all work.
However, saying "Alexa office lights on/off" works for all lights EXCEPT this one. This one trouble light doesn't respond as part of the Office group when I use voice control.
To make it more weird, it WILL turn on and off when I say "Alexa apartment lights on/off." My Apartment group has all rooms in it.
So basically the light functions as it should except when I use voice control for the Office group.
Any ideas?
It's driving me kind of crazy. I have tried different layers of groups, adding the Trouble Light to a lower level decoy group and then adding that group to the larger Office group. My thinking was that it still works within the Apartment group, so this workaround could trick it into responding within the Office. But no luck there either
