What is it to be complete?
We often believe that a special person “completes” us. When we meet someone who feels like a miracle, it can seem as if they’ve filled a missing piece inside of us. But the truth is this: no one completes you. You are already whole. What the right person does is awaken what’s already there. They inspire you to rise higher, to love deeper, to give more of your best self. That desire to be better isn’t proof of incompleteness, it’s proof that you’re alive to your own potential.
But then life shows up. Stress, bills, disagreements, and routines dull the spark. We get comfortable, then complacent. We forget the gratitude we once felt and begin to take for granted what once felt like magic. This happens to everyone. And without awareness and practice, the relationship can slowly drift into distance.
