Kraus Garbage Disposal Installation
This weekend, I installed a new Kraus brand garbage disposal. It didn't work, so I replaced the outlet and the switch. (A lamp plugged into the old switch outlet combo wouldn't power up). I verified the functionality of the new outlet and switch with the same lamp. New disposal is in and it will not respond to the switch even though I've verified the power. I've pressed the red reset button on the disposal and nothing has happened. I've plugged the disposal into the non-switched outlet and it will not power on. I'm wondering if I've missed a step somewhere or if there is a failsafe (like it's not totally locked in place on the mounting ring or something) that could be causing this? Is it really just a DOA unit? Thanks for any insight on anything to try before returning the item!
