Emotional maturity gets thrown around a lot, but it rarely means the same thing for everyone.
For some, it’s about handling conflict without shutting down; for others, it’s apologizing, taking responsibility, or not blaming everyone else. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about how you react when things get messy, not just calm.

This activity is about sharing your personal markers of emotional maturity:
- what you actually notice in people,
- what feels grown‑up to you,
- and where you feel you are on that journey.

No judgment, no textbook answers—just honest, real talk.

TASK: Copy and answer these four parts:
1. Curate YOUR “maturity checklist” by writing 5 short phrases/statements that describe what emotional maturity looks like to you. You can be inspired by the examples below, but you don’t have to copy them:
   a. Apologizes without making excuses.
   b. Admits I’m wrong instead of deflecting.
   c. Can sit with uncomfortable feelings instead of escaping.
After your list, add 1 sentence (complete thought) why these feel mature to you.
2. Name‑and‑fame: a “mature moment”
Describe one short moment you’ve seen (or done) that fits at least one of your chosen phrases.
3. Name‑and‑shame: a “not‑there‑yet” moment
Describe one short moment where someone (you or others) acted emotionally immature. Tie it to at least one thing    from your checklist or the opposite (blaming, exploding, shutting down, etc.).
4. In 1 sentence, say where you feel you are now:
Ex: “ Learning as I go .” “ Still very reactive, but aware.”

You can admit it’s messy; that’s part of maturity too.

MANDATORY: It's not part of this activity to mention anyone or use your default mention for fellow Tanglers—whoever you mention won't be able to read your comment within 72 hours anyway, so STOP that. Anyone who does will incur a 100k DEDUCTION. TRY ME.
Also, anyone who has a deleted comment (even if you comment again) will not be rewarded.

ATTACHMENT: Maturity Ladder
- Draw a 5 steps ladder on a piece of paper
- On each step, write the phrases/statements you answered in Task1
- Bottom: “ Growing up is hard, but growing inside feels more real than acting adult. ” and #GrowUpInside

Rules & Reminders:
- Pink/Grey BADGES (5+ marketplace badges) only
- Be subscribed to and
- COMMENT your answer below with tag #GrowUpInside + mention and + "I’m not quitting the climb"
- I read submissions one by one, and I understand those copied or rephrased entries. If this happens again, you will be blocked and will no longer be able to participate in any future activities will host.
- Closes at 10 entries.
- Failure to follow any of the given rules may be subject to disqualification or deduction of rewards!

VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTES FOR THIS ACTIVITY:
BASE REWARD is 300,000 MLX per participant. Duplicate entries won’t be entertained .

***I set the comments to be visible only after 72 hours. This activity will officially close once the comments are made public. This approach is intended to be fair to those who participate early. I typically provide feedback on each entry, detailing any deductions. However, I've noticed that some participants submit their entries after the comments are visible, which allows them to benefit from insights that others may have missed. This policy aims to ensure a level playing field for all participants.***

1. DISQUALIFICATION
• Posting inside the group/Commenting the link to a post
• Entries out of topic
• NOT subscribed to upon checking.
• COPIED or REPHRASED entries
• Entries from someone with more than 1 Tangled account
2. DEDUCTIONS
• 30k - Failure to include any or all of the ff: correct tag #GrowUpInside and mentions:  and
• 30k-100k - Failure to follow the task format and explain in complete thought
• 30k – Failure to include the required statement
• 100k - Failure to follow the required correct attachment ( minor mistakes = deductions only )
3. ALL deductions from rule-breakers will be split evenly among participants who followed every rule.
In cases where the deductions are significantly larger and the participants who followed the rules do not exceed half of the capped entries, a portion of the deduction will be allocated to standout entries. Meanwhile, those who complied with the rules will also receive their share.

I am officially closing this activity as we have reached the end of the 72-hour window and comments are now visible to the public. Thank you for participating in the #GrowUpInside activity and for your honest contributions to our exploration of emotional maturity.

As we navigate the complexities of emotional maturity, remember that it’s a journey of understanding and managing our own emotions while empathizing with others. It involves both celebrating moments of growth and confronting challenges, ultimately leading to deeper connections and a more fulfilling life.

I capped entries at 10, but I received only 7 submissions. Upon reviewing these entries, I found that none fully adhered to all the rules. If you would like to understand what went wrong and why deductions were made, please compare your entries against the guidelines, as I will not be providing individual feedback on each submission.

Deductions stemmed from the following:
A. TASK: Copy and answer these four parts:
1. Curate YOUR “maturity checklist”
2. Name‑and‑fame: a “mature moment”
3. Name‑and‑shame: a “not‑there‑yet” moment
4. In 1 sentence, say where you feel you are now:
After your list, add 1 sentence (complete thought) why these feel mature to you.
C. Failure to include the required statement: I’m not quitting the climb

Any changes to the highlighted tasks or failure to answer the given tasks with complete thoughts will result in deductions. Regarding the attachment, any missing or redundant words, misspellings, or incorrect use of hashtags will also incur deductions.

Nonetheless, I have found a way to distribute the remaining MLX to the following participants: 900k MLX from the three unfilled spots, plus 430k MLX from the overall deductions, will be distributed as follows:
1.   300k mlx each (from the 3 unfilled spots) for well-prepared attachment:
2.   143,334 mlx each (from the total deductions)  for standout answers:

 TOTAL PAYOUT: 3,000,002 mlx

1. My Maturity Checklist
🌻Choose peace over drama.
(I would rather sleep and have a quiet mind than chase chaos or attend wild parties.)
🌻Forgive others to heal myself.
(I let go of anger because holding onto it hurts me much more than it hurts them.)
🌻Listen with an open mind.
(I accept that people have different opinions, and I do not need them to agree with me to respect them.)
🌻Stop forcing relationships.
(I let go of people who want to leave and choose to keep my inner peace instead.)
🌻Find happiness from within.
(My joy does not depend on other people's approval; it comes from being true to myself.)

I feel mature enough with these because I stopped looking for external validation and has instead chosen the quiet power of protecting my own inner peace.

2. Name-and-Fame: A "Mature Moment"
One time, a subordinate brought a report to my husband for his signature. My husband read and checked it first, and then told him that some parts needed to be changed. He nicely and quickly replied, "Yes, Sir. I will fix it right away so you can sign it this afternoon." There was no pride or making excuses; he were just very professional about his work.

3. Name-and-Shame: A "Not-There-Yet" Moment
Once, we went on a vacation with a family friend and the whole family. Unexpectedly, the husband and wife had a disagreement. They started fighting right there in front of our family and even in front of their own kids. If there is an issue like that, they should talk about it calmly and privately instead of making a scene in front of everyone.

4. Current Progress
Much more mindful now, though I still have my reactive moments.

1. My maturity checklist:
a. Apologizes sincerely without blaming others.
b. Stays calm during arguments instead of shouting.
c. Accepts mistakes and learns from them.
d. Respects other people’s feelings and opinions.
e. Thinks before reacting emotionally.

These feel mature to me because they show self-control, honesty, and respect even in difficult situations.

2. Name-and-fame: a “mature moment”
One time, I argued with a friend and later realized I was wrong. I apologized honestly without making excuses, and we solved the misunderstanding peacefully.

3. Name-and-shame: a “not-there-yet” moment
Once I got angry quickly during a small disagreement and stopped talking instead of explaining my feelings calmly. That showed emotional immaturity because I reacted instead of communicating properly.

4. Where I feel I am now:
“Still learning every day, but becoming more aware of my reactions.”

Here's my Entry 🥰 🥰
#earn #GrowUpInside

# 1️⃣.MY “MATURITY CHECKLIST” 🌱
• Knows when to stay quiet instead of hurting people with anger.
• Accepts criticism without turning everything into a fight.
• Can disagree respectfully without changing behavior toward someone.
• Stops blaming others for every bad mood or mistake.
• Understands that healing and growth take time, not ego.

These feel mature to me because real maturity shows most during uncomfortable moments, not during easy conversations.

# 2️⃣.“MATURE MOMENT” ✨
One day I saw someone get misunderstood in a group chat, but instead of reacting angrily, they calmly explained themselves and even apologized for the confusion. That level of patience honestly felt powerful to me.

# 3️⃣.“NOT-THERE-YET” MOMENT” 💭
I once ignored someone completely after getting upset instead of explaining what bothered me. Staying silent felt easier at the time, but later I realized shutting down only creates distance and confusion.

# 4️⃣.WHERE I FEEL I AM NOW 🌿
Still learning to respond with patience instead of emotion, but becoming more aware of myself every day.
