The TVA weren't pruning Earth 10005 because their Anchor Being died, they were pruning the earth to prevent an incusion
I recently rewatched Deadpool & Wolverine for Doomsday hype and I realized that (given the Doomsday trailers and official descriptions) The TVA possibly didn't care about Logan dying in 2029 and that universe losing an anchor being, they were trying to get ahead of the curb of an eventual incursion (assuming the TVA would be aware of the future event the same way the TVA were aware of Thor crying for Deadpool). And seeing that the device was experimental and was capable of pruning an entirely active "dying" universe it's very possible that an attempt to erase 10005 before the 616 and 828 came into contact was a mercy kill or potential preparation for the universe to deal with a later multiversal threat, similar to the Fantastic Four dealing with Galactus as cosmic preparation and Ant-man dealing with Kang, The Leader warning Captain America, and Monica Rambeau crossing between universes as Multiversal preparation. (Which imo gives Deadpool & Wolverine more weight towards Avengers Doomsday than most would assume) Or it's completely coincidental, though it would fit with the TVA's new values, especially with the added advantage towards a peaceful outcome if several worlds know about the risks in the Multiverse instead of pruning certain heroes or letting the worlds die entirely like in Multiverse of Madness.
