Found a leak under my raised home
We have been smelling a foul odor underneath our raised home for a while now and yesterday when I looked under I saw that there’s a lot of standing water. With further investigation I realized that there’s a pipe leaking a lot of water every time that we use the washer and has been doing that for at least a year now. I went ahead and I pumped out all the water and we’re not using the washer until further notice. I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me any advice on how to handle the mess underneath. I’m extremely worried about mold as I have found a bit of mold in my drawer under my bed. I honestly don’t have the financial resources to do too much about it and I’m freaking out, my dad says that as long as it dries out and we put a layer of some sort of plastic (forgot the name) then it should be fine. I worry that our home is ruined and that we are going to be completely covered in mold. Anyone have any advice on what the next steps should be? I’m freaking out and this is the only thing that I thought would maybe calm down a bit and maybe even get some good advice. Thank you guys.
