Parrilla steel type and life span

hello all.

I have no experience with metal working or really characteristics of metals generally. I apologise in advance for anything silly or basic I may ask.

I want to buy a Parrilla bbq grill for my home. I am in Melbourne Australia which is classified as humid.

I am confused as to what type of Parrilla build is necessary for this climate. The inserts I am looking at are stainless steel 201, but advice from proprietors is that 201 will rust very quickly and be problematic. Recommendations is to buy a stainless steel 304 Parrilla but this blows out the budget very quickly. Also as someone who has been to South America a few times I don't recall there ever being a stainless steel Parrilla that I can recall.

Is a 201 ss Parrilla a waste in a humid climate like Melbourne, ultimately don't bother unless it's 304?

if it has to be ss304 what is (or is there a) most cost effective way to get a Parrilla built other than buying off the shelf? I'm asking simply because straight up I can't afford a $4,000 Parrilla.

thanks for your help.
