Is the Honda CBR500R really that bad of a sport bike?
I live in Europe and I have A2 license. So motorcycles are restricted. I really like sport bikes and I want to upgrade to a 600 motorcycle when I get the A license. Next summer, I also want to enroll in a racing school.
I bought a Honda CBR500R because I found a lot for sale locally, at a good price. I like how it looks. Initially, I wanted to buy a Ninja 500, but I couldn't find a good deal.
My only biker friend has a Yamaha R7, and he told me that I made a mistake with the Honda- it is a very bad sport motorcycle and I won't learn the proper body position and how to take corners.
Is the CBR500R really that bad? Should I sell it and buy something sportier? Ninja 400? 500? But I can't find them for sale, and the Ninja 400 is a bit small for me.
