Watch collecting rules I set for myself are: don't repeat colours, don't repeat styles, don't repeat countries. It’s just for fun really and I don't always manage to stick to this (especially with switzerland) but it's led to a diverse collection that I’m happy with. I think I’ll get a French watch next.
1. AnOrdain Model 2 Lichen. Vitreous enamel dial, hand painted on to a silver disc based on on a 3d scanned hand carving. Looks awesome in person. Sat on the wait list for 3 years to get this one. 2. Erosa. Vintage swiss from maybe the 70s. Found in an antique shop in france. I really like the off-center logo and dial text. 3. Unimatic x MoMA. Great colours and a lovely hefty utilitarian feel to it. An Italian watch, purchased in NY on work travel. 4. Boldr Venture Earth. The dial is made of titanium with all the details blind embossed into it 5. A vintage Nevada. Was my grandads watch 6. Nomos Club Sport World Timer Canyon 7. Swatch Weighless. It's a lil guy! The two orange hands show the time. 8. G-Shock Makineko. Bought in Japan before I was properly into watches. Lights up with a picture of a cat. #luxury source
