So, what are we thinking will be up to by Born Again S3?
Obviously, spoiler stands in for Luke and Danny.
Based on his suit, Luke still seems to be the Godfather of Harlem, controlling crime from within. It seems that the majority of his off-screen development will just be getting married with Jessica and having a daughter, which I'm fine with, since they teased the 2 of them getting back together at the end of JJS3. On one hand, it's weird that Jessica is ok with his position, but I really hope they have some explanation for that and then actually resolve that plot thread in Born Again Season 3 with him running for mayor by the end.
As for Danny, I'm really torn. On one hand, I don't want him to have moved on too much with a lot of off-screen development, but at the same time, I don't think they'll just say that he has been training with Orson Randall for 10 whole years. A good in-between would be to say he was snapped and continued his training when he came back, so it only took him 5 years to master his abilities, only to come back to NYC and see Fisk as mayor. I don't think he would have been in NYC all this time without doing anything, especially with all the money he's got.
Which also brings me to Colleen. Where is she during all of this? Well, I hope they say that she also moved back to China with her grandpa, shortly before the events of Born Again Season 1 to learn more about her ancestors and how she is connected to K'un-L'un. That could also explain her potential absence in Born Again S3 (if they don't bring her back) and could lead to some really nice storylines down the line which maybe also include Shang-Chi, Xialing and the Ten Rings.
Oh and I also want to see Misty back, but I don't think they need to explain much about her to bring her back to the fold.
