Making a dumb door buzzer smart with a shelly
Hi everyone,
I have a shelly 3 mini gen 3 (see photo) and i was wondering if my reasonning is correct.
I want to automate my dumb door buzzer, 20 V, with a remote capability using my phone.
Currently when i press (and hold) the button, the circuit is closed and the door strike is unlocked. Now, using a shelly, i suppose i can do the same thing without giving up the existing button.
I connect O and I in parralel to the button, and i connect L and N to a 120 V AC outlet nearby. Could it work ?
