Secret Invasion didn't lived up to its potential and was not that fun since it was meant to be serious spy thriller but it created some serious impact in the MCU
1) Both Ross and Rhodey were replaced with Skrull impersonators (along with many unknown politicians, media personal etc.) making their appearance post Endgame more thought provoking and may be explored in Armor Wars.
2) Killed off Maria Hill, one of the best shield agents and both Talos and his wife, the former was close friend of Nick Fury.
3) Gave some background to Nick Fury by introducing his wife who is actually a skrull.
4) Introduced a charming and dynamic character like Sonya(Olivia Colman) and Gi'ah (Emilia Clarke) whose power can rival to Carol.
5) US President openly threatening non humans and resulting chaos where we see at the end of the last episode where brutal vigilantism and state of paranoia had begun
