I'll never forget watching Empire Strikes Back for the first time and watching in awe as the Executor blotted out the sun looming over the dwarfed Star Destroyers. Perfect way to raise the stakes and intimidation factor of the Empire post-Death Star.
After losing the Death Star, introducing the *Executor* was the perfect way to keep the stakes believably high and tense in a sequel without overdoing it, and establish that the Empire merely had a setback and is here for vengeance.
I'd really enjoy seeing the *Lusankya* come into play in a future project so we get to see the *Executor's* twin, definitely has the opportunity for an incredible entrance based on its book background.
