Anyone have any tips about “repairing” a granite headstone slab
My sister passed away about 9 mos ago and my family had been saving for a nice headstone for months and when they got it … her name was spelled wrong…it’s off by one letter. The gravestone company is not offering a free replacement
It’s really bugging me. I’d like to fill in the C on her stone and replace it with a K to match her spelling but Ive never worked with any type of stone.
Does anyone have any tips on how to fill in a letter and add a new one on top of it with out it looking too bad. It doesn’t need to be completely flush with the rest of the stone but I don’t want it to look bulky and awful.
I’m already a big DIY-er
I already have resins, epoxys, concrete clay, porcelain clay, dremmels and a cricut to cut letter stencil but I’m not super confident I’ve never worked with stone. I’m willing to purchase something else, Any tips would be helpful. #diy source
