Just got my J6CR CBE lately and I will be testing it soon to see the performance. I had the original J6CR which was good interms of a large sweet spot and because of that along with great pop, you could become a real demon in the kitchen. But, I still sold it after a while.... because it didnt have the spin or put away power I wanted from a power paddle.... I dont know how to put this articulately, but the feeling from the original J6 was that it did everything really well! But it never excelled in one thing, so it was really a 'jack of all, master of none' type of paddle. After I sold the original J6CR, I got the RPM Q2 which I enjoyed it ALOT for 2 months, because it had the ELITE put away power and better spin than the original J6. However, control with the Q2 suffered until I really broke it in and was dialled after a few weeks/month. After the break in period, I learned how to control the paddle properly but again it was not the same control or forgiveness as the original J6. Now with the J6 CBE, I didnt expect it to be more powerful than the original or the Q2, but the spin being ELITE as claimed from the biggest reviewers in the space, really got me hyped because it would really make up for lack of put away power compared to the Q2. The crazy spin with the same forgiveness as the original J6 would make this an 'End Game' paddle theoretically. The reason is, if you have elite spin, decent power and a alot of forgiveness then you can really make this a point and shoot weapon, which is alot more valuable than trying to overwhelm an opponent with sheer power. AGAIN this is all theoretical, but this is what im seeing being said from all the top reviewers (especially John Kew and the pickleball pursuit guys)
I will be providing my feedback after a few weeks - testing out different weight setups as well, but I wanted to start this thread, so everyone can share their experience with the J6CR CBE as well? Please feel free to provide your own thoughts below. #sport source
