This week for the #ArtChallenge we’re traveling back in time to 1930 to pay tribute to the master of Surrealism: Man Ray!
Our inspiration of the week is his iconic work ‘Tête de femme vue en plongée’.
Its magic? Creating an optical illusion using a shift in perspective!
🎨Lie down on the floor, on your bed, or on a sofa.Take the photo from above, placing the camera directly over you (a top‑down ‘plongée’ view), so that your head faces the lens and your hair or body are stretched out.
🎨 Rotate the photo upside down! (flip it 180°).
You’ll see how the framing completely changes the perception.
🎨Share your photo alongside the original. Entries without the collage will not be counted.
