If Ukraine has no cards, if we’re supposedly so weak, then why doesn’t Russia just occupy us?!

***It’s funny to remember how some commentators recently insisted that we urgently needed to sign the “mineral agreement” with the U.S. They kept saying how beneficial it was for us and how it would guarantee our security.***
***Well, where is mineral agreement now? It is signed. Have you heard anything about it?***
***Now the same people demand that we sign this capitulation. They try to convince us how “beneficial” and “right” it is to officially hand over territory to the aggressor for the first time since 1938, thereby completely destroying international law.***
***They also claim it’s “fair” to reduce the Ukrainian army (while Russia’s army doesn’t have to shrink at all).***
***And they find it perfectly “fair” that NATO should officially agree in its documents that Ukraine will never be admitted. Has anyone ever seen such a precedent in international law? Or is this something invented by the legal “school” of Dmitriev and Vitkoff?***
***Next point: Ukraine must hold elections within 100 days. What does that have to do with peace?***
***And is Russia planning to finally hold fair elections too?***
***Because apparently, “peace” requires electing a different government in Ukraine, while the war-obsessed regime in the Kremlin should stay exactly as it is.***
***Then: Ukraine must agree to remain a non-nuclear state.***
