There was a day I still don’t talk about much.
It was late evening, and I only had a small amount of money left. Not enough for everything I needed. I stood there thinking… should I spend it on food, or save it for transport the next day? It felt like such a small decision, but at that moment, it didn’t feel small at all.
That was the moment I understood something deeply — money isn’t always about comfort. Sometimes, it’s about getting through the day. About making sure you can reach home safely, or not sleep hungry.
I usually tell myself, “It was nothing… everyone goes through this.” Maybe that’s my way of ignoring how heavy that moment really felt.
But if I’m honest, the feeling that stayed with me was a mix of fear and relief. Fear of not having enough… and relief that somehow, I managed.
Some moments don’t look big from the outside, but inside, they change the way you see everything.
