What project would you absolutely not DIY again and why?
For me it’s baking and decorating a two layer professional cake from scratch.
Just to add one I thought I failed at but didn’t. I tried to replace a solid wood exterior door once, went to Home Depot and got a replacement door but had to cut it to size. I borrowed a friend‘s late grandfather‘s rotary saw for this, and it jammed in the cut halfway through. I stepped back, thought my cut looked wobbly anyway, and said eff it and called a handyman. The handyman came, finished the cut and hung the door and I was surprised to find that the length I had cut wasn’t actually wobbly at all and I cut it perfectly.
