ELI5: How does gravitons work?
Not a physicist. Just super curious and interested in everything about space. I understand the idea about spacetime and the curvature of space mediating gravity. My brain can visualise it and comprehend it. But gravitons? I don’t get it. I’ve tried reading about the topic but can’t seem to grasp how a particle is responsible for gravity. Like if I drop my phone - I can imagine the curvature of space and my phone dropping towards the earth. How would that example look if gravity is due to a particle?
