Recently received a broken folding easel from a family member, which I'm told would fold out to make an A frame around the dowel in the top half, with a maximum angle on each leg of \~30 degrees. Apparently it was put together originally in a different family member's woodshop, and I've never seen a design like this. Unfortunately Google and Lens have come up with nothing either.
I've managed to get it back together into its folded position but I never saw it in the leaning position, so I'm at a loss as to how the folding would have functioned, since it seems like the bottom is joined together.
Does anyone here have any ideas that might help get it put back together?
