I just heard the news, that Yôichi Higashi, the director of No More Easy Life, Four Seasons: Natsuko, The Rape and Village of Dream died Januay 21. I believe I haven't seen eulogy here, so I decided to write one. Some people consdering him as a feminist, cause his movies, despite of sex and nudity, touched various delicate subjects and strugles of Japanese females. I personally may recommend to check Four Seasons: Natsuko and The Rape and decide for yourself.
