I watched this movie for the first time a few months back, and was absolutely blown away by how good it was. I'm about to rewatch the film in a few days. Although, I've seen it get nothing but hate online. I recognize that it's got some minor flaws that keep it from perfection, but what was so bad about it? I'm genuinely asking. It's like an A+ production, with names like Ridley Scott, Dariusz Wolski, and Arthur Max working behind the camera, and talent like Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba, Charlize Theron, and Benedict Wong in front. It's incredibly entertaining, and has some really cool body horror moments. While it doesn't live up to the original Alien, which is a pretty damn perfect movie, I think it comes pretty close. What are your thoughts on this movie, and why does it get so much hate?
