Creating bookcase art for a Disney friend, help me with ideas?
I like to make watercolor, paper collage and this is a bookcase I made with some things I thought was fun. A friend of mine loved it and she’s really into Disney so I’m trying to make one for her but all of the little stuff on there will be Disney things and I’m going to write the name of different shows and movies on the book spines.
So I’m trying to come up with ideas for what to put on there. Mickey ears hat is definitely one. I’m thinking of cutting out a little lamp from Aladdin to put on the shelf. Maybe a little bottle with a tag that says drink me from Alice Wonderland or a teacup maybe? I know one of her favorite movies is nightmare before Christmas so I was going to paint the pumpkin tree entry doorway to Halloweentown and put that as the painting.
Any other ideas would be really appreciated. I’m really trying to think of things that are more unique, like the rose from beauty and the beast would be beautiful on there but that be really hard for me to do and also it is would be the expected thing from that movie. Some expected things are cool, but I want it to be exciting to figure out.
