I have a double door in my barn made of two layers of shiplap. I have an old fashioned thumb latch on it, but the thumb is on the opposite side form the side that is usually opened, when you don’t need both doors opened. the doors overlap the wrong way to reverse the thumb latch.
Is there a better way to latch these doors? The doors have bars screwed across them for the moment, for the winter and because I just replaced the weatherstripping, and want it to conform tightly and seal well when the doors are closed. #diy source
