ELI5: How does selling a house while on the mortgage work?
Im planning to buy a house in the next couple years (hopefully) and Im worried I'll be stuck if I buy one and end up wanting to move later on. I've looked it up, I've read explanations, i dont understand. It may be the math component, i have dyscalculia. Do you owe money if you sell without paying it off? Does the money you make go to the next house? Thank you.
