I haven't tried exchange since I'm still confused in how it works. But thanks for sharing this guide, I finally understand it.
so I have been developing bots for nearly 30 years, in fact my bot was the first bot that was used by adding custom modules, to form the first DDoS botnet, we had tcpip auto linking once set up and spaw3n, bot formed thier own private networks, directly connected peer to peer, these days I rest on my already perfected trading bots :D
MetaTrader 4, also known as MT4, is an electronic trading platform widely used by online retail foreign exchange speculative traders. It was developed by MetaQuotes Software and released in 2005. The software is licensed to foreign exchange brokers who provide the software to their clients.
so I am still using mt4 almost for 20 years now.... Imagine the market share they have had over the years, HUGE , now they have had mt5 for a bit which is multithreded and take advantage of intels hyper threading.... before mt4 forex traders were forced to use broker propietary trading platforms...but mt4 and mt5 code is not interchangable and so while some have migrated to mt5 for bot dev, I have not! I cant imagine the work to recode evereything, it would take me more years than I likely have left, ill be the big 60 this year!
