YSK: Avoid teabags and opt for loose leaf tea when you can.

Why YSK: While there are unbleached teabags that are processed “naturally,” most paper teabags are not fully biodegradable and contain a polypropylene lining/seal. Even worse, those pretty little plastic teabags can release billions of plastic particles in one brew.
It may not always be the easiest and most convenient, but loose leaf teas can also be of better quality and more economical. Consider using a stainless steel or ceramic strainer instead.
