Quick thanks
I was camping this past weekend with a friend in La Vérendrye, Quebec. My buddy and I had a late start on Saturday so all of the sites along the way were taken. We ended up canoeing almost 28 km before we opted to just stop at a group site in the hopes that it would have enough room. There was already a group of 6 women on a girls trip staying there. I think they were pretty freaked out since we just showed up at 9:30 pm, but they were super friendly and welcoming. They showed us to an empty tent site and then my buddy and I settled in.
I don't know if any of them will see this but I just wanted to say thank you! We were exhausted and about to just head home but you really helped us out and saved our trip.
Always good to know there are kind and friendly people out there.
