Inspired by the legendary photographer Irving Penn, I experimented with a black-and-white portrait focusing on the power of facial expression and hand placement.
Creating this shot helped me understand how simple gestures can add emotion, depth, and storytelling to a photograph. Working in black and white made me focus more on composition, contrast, and mood rather than colors.
A tribute to a master who showed that sometimes the simplest portraits can be the most powerful.
