Sam Witwer setting the tone for Maul: Shadow Lord. There are no heroes in this story.
And thank God that it isn't!
My biggest fear when Maul Shadow Lord was announced was that it was going to be another BOBF/Tales of the Underworld&Empire series that promoted itself as a more darker storyline centered around the Galaxies more villainous and amoral types, but wouldn't actually follow through on displaying that more shadowy narrative.
Thankfully, this doesn't seem to be the case, and after seeing the trailers and listening to the interviews Sam Witwer has given I feel a bit more confident that this show will actually follow through on the expectations and tone that it promoted having.
