What’s the biggest event in Star Wars that happens OFF screen?
Biggest event being physically (battle wise) or just story importance wise. I’ll go first and take the low hanging fruit.
Palpatine returning. I honestly don’t know even know if this has officially been covered in any other media outside The Rise of Skywalker although I believe the current Vader comics are delving into it? Maybe?
Aside from that;
-The Battle of Jakku and the official end of the Galactic Civil War (both important parts of the canon Aftermath trilogy)
-The Empire nearly destroying the entirety of the Rebel Alliance shortly after the Battle of Yavin (happens in the 2015 Star Wars comic run)
-Mon Cala rebelling against the Empire and establishing the soon-to-be Rebel fleet (happens in the 2017 Darth Vader comics)
Point in case— the comic writers consistently produce top notch Star Wars stories and concepts that the movies/shows haven’t even gotten CLOSE to in terms of quality.
If you’re bored of current Star Wars I highly recommend picking up the comics. You won’t be disappointed.
