The Mirror Doesn’t Lie | #MirrorMantra
I stood in front of the mirror longer than I expected. At first, nothing came out. Then I stopped pretending and just spoke.
Truth #1 : I act like I have everything under control, but most days I’m still figuring it out.
Truth #2 : I hold myself back because I’m afraid of failing in front of people.
Truth #3 : I care more about how I’m seen than I like to admit.
The hardest truth to say was Truth #2 . Admitting that fear, out loud, made me realize how often I’ve paused my own growth. I’ve missed chances not because I couldn’t do better, but because I didn’t trust myself enough. Saying it hurt—but it also felt honest, and honesty feels lighter than pretending.
This wasn’t comfortable, but it was real. And being real with myself matters more than looking strong .
