Why in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 is it stated that Thanos is the most powerful being in the universe?
I don't remember the character's name, but in one scene he tells Ronan that he shouldn't disobey Thanos, saying that Thanos was the most powerful being in the universe. This seems strange, since Thanos in the MCU has practically no powers beyond extreme strength and resistance and being a master fighter and such. It seems that in this scene the screenwriters were still thinking of writing the MCU Thanos to have the same powers that he actually has in the comics. What do you think?
