#ChangingReligionForLove 1. What role does religion or faith play in your life right now? Religion and faith mean more to me than my own life. My faith is everything to me, and I would never want to lose it at any cost. 2. If the person you love deeply belongs to a different religion or has no religion, how do you think that would feel? If the person I love belongs to a different religion, I would choose to leave them. It would hurt, but nothing is more important to me than my faith. No relationship or love can come above it. I would accept my decision and feel at peace knowing I did what is right. 3. If that person asked you to change or leave your religion for love, what would go through your mind? I would never change my religion for love because my religion is my identity. I would think, why should I change? They could also choose to change. I would make a firm decision that it is better to walk away than to leave my faith. 4. What boundaries do you have around your beliefs or values in a relationship? Religion is something I will never compromise on. I will not compromise on religious practices or celebrations. However, in other areas of life, like daily matters or even children’s upbringing, I may show flexibility and understanding. 5. If you ever had to adjust your religious practice or tradition for love, what would that look like for you? I would not change my religious practices in any way. As I said, my faith is everything to me. At most, I can continue a relationship with mutual differences, respecting each other’s beliefs. What I need from my partner is respect.
