Property Theft Experiences
I’m new to camping. I’ve had a blast kitting out my set up as a newb. I’m learning what camping means for me personally. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced theft while camping as it’s weird for me to venture out away from such big ticket items for a hike and return assuming it’s just going to be in the shade where I left it. I’m mostly camping at very state parks or paid campgrounds but I still can’t help but feel weird walking away from solar panels just hanging out in the sun with a wire through the tent to the jackery…. Like…. Should I be putting that all in my car every time I go hike? I know that crime can happen randomly and no one is a future teller here but I’m wondering what your experiences have been… anecdotal experience from the community versus the horror stories that make the headlines I guess.
