Is Peter Parker even in Earth 19999 in Brand New Day?
Jean Grey seems to be the most popular pick for Sadies character, but i just dont entirely buy it or can think of a rational reason why she would be in 19999. Same kinda reasoning with Rachel Summers, unless she has travelled to 19999 for some reason. Her character could also not be that important, and shes just playing Gwen Stacy, i just dont think they would leave this much hidden
Maybe its going to be connected to doomsday. With Holland being unconfirmed for Doomsday, clips from Banner raging out and fighting Peter, and Little snippets of Bernthaal punisher which seem slightly unlike the Punisher we have seen in the past.
Could spider man somehow have been sent to another universe? Where both Xmen and Avengers existed?
I don't know how they would track with the MJ & Ned story, but from what Ive seen on the trailers it could be an option, with Ned potentially becoming Hobgoblin. 'Scorpion' says "you think im scorpion?" , I believe that implies Mephisto will be involved. Banner had his powers in control up until now, but suddenly changes? Just weird little things that I cant add up, i may sound stupid and there could be other reasonable explanations.
Him not being confirmed for Doomsday may just be marketing so they can leave his fate unconfirmed, or Holland may just not want to play Spiderman after this, which could also be the reason Doomsday was delayed until after Brand New Day.
My theory. Somehow Peter is sent to another Universe at the start of BND, If Sadie is playing Rachel Summers this is within her power set, searching for help for an impending threat (Mephisto?) . Peter is bought to a world where their Peter Parker has died, and they introduce a live action Miles Morales. This would explain the character differences previously mentioned. Peter becomes "the other" and is eventually killed, at the end of Doomsday post credits, Miles Morales shows up and tells the Avengers Peter is dead.
