#FrameOfMind g/confessions g/studio #earn activity We all…

#FrameOfMind
     #earn activity

We all carry memories—some warm, some painful, some just…. awkward. Some feel like they’re stuck on repeat, others feel distant or almost forgotten.

This activity asks a simple but heavy question: If you could erase one memory, would you do it? What would it be and why?

Before you answer, it helps to know:
- Memories shape how we see ourselves but they don’t have to define us.
- Erasing a memory might sound like a quick fix, but it can also take away the lessons or the strength that came from surviving it.
- This is not about “fixing yourself” or pretending you’re fine. It’s about noticing what you still carry and whether you’d rather lighten the load—or keep it and grow from it.

TASK:
Write a short, honest reflection (a few sentences, a short paragraph, or bullet‑style notes) answering:
1. If you could erase one memory, would you erase it?
       - Yes / no / maybe / “only parts of it” / “I don’t feel the need to erase anything.”
2. What would that memory be—or why don’t you feel you need to erase anything?
       - If you DO have something to erase: briefly describe the memory
       - If you DON’T feel you need to erase anything, tell me why.
3. What does this memory (or lack of one to erase) do to you now?
       - Does it still hurt, embarrass you, or just sit there quietly?
4. Why would you erase it—or why wouldn’t you?
       - If you wouldn’t erase it: what’s keeping you from wanting to erase it?
5. If you couldn’t erase it, what would you prefer to do with it instead?
       - If there’s nothing you want to erase, how do you already treat your memories in general?

ATTACHMENT: Erased Frame
- Draw or create a simple “frame” ( like a picture frame outline ) on paper
- Inside the frame, write one word or short phrase that represents the memory you would erase (or you don’t feel the need to erase), like:
 - “ Falling apart at the party ”
 - “The last fight”
 - “Nothing to erase.”
- Then, on the same frame: draw a big “X” over the word/phrase. Make sure the word/phrase is still clear.
- Outside the frame: write and #FrameOfMind . Make EVERYTHING LEGIBLE.

You don’t have to reveal every detail—that one word or phrase can be enough to hold the memory (or its absence) without reopening everything.

Rules & Reminders:
- Pink/Grey BADGES (5+ marketplace badges) only
- Be subscribed to and
- COMMENT your answer below with tag #FrameOfMind + mention and + #SoftMemoriesSofterNow
- I read submissions one by one, and I understand those copied or rephrased entries. If this happens again, you will be blocked and will no longer be able to participate in any future activities will host.
- Closes at 12 entries.
- Failure to follow any of the given rules may be subject to disqualification or deduction of rewards!

VERY VERY IMPORTANT NOTES FOR THIS ACTIVITY:
BASE REWARD is 250,000 MLX per participant. Duplicate entries won’t be entertained .

***I set the comments to be visible only after 72 hours. This activity will officially close once the comments are made public. This approach is intended to be fair to those who participate early. I typically provide feedback on each entry, detailing any deductions. However, I've noticed that some participants submit their entries after the comments are visible, which allows them to benefit from insights that others may have missed. This policy aims to ensure a level playing field for all participants.***

1. DISQUALIFICATION
• Posting inside the group/Commenting the link to a post
• Entries out of topic
• NOT subscribed to upon checking.
• COPIED or REPHRASED entries
• Entries from someone with more than 1 Tangled account
2. DEDUCTIONS
• 20k - Failure to include any or all of the ff: correct tag #FrameOfMind and mentions:  and
• 30k-100k - Failure to follow the comment format and explain in complete thought
• 30k – Failure to include the required additional tag
• 100k - Failure to follow the required correct attachment ( minor mistakes = deductions only )
3. ALL deductions from rule-breakers will be split evenly among participants who followed every rule.
In cases where the deductions are significantly larger and the participants who followed the rules do not exceed half of the capped entries, a portion of the deduction will be allocated to standout entries. Meanwhile, those who complied with the rules will also receive their share.

I am officially closing the #FrameOfMind activity, as no new submissions have been received within the 72-hour period, and comments are now visible to the public.

As we wrap up this activity, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the profound impact of our memories in shaping our identities. It’s important to recognize that it’s perfectly okay to embrace both the joyful and the difficult moments. Your courage to reflect on your experiences—whether they bring warmth or pose challenges—reveals a remarkable blend of strength and vulnerability. I truly appreciate your openness in sharing your thoughts and stories.

Out of 12 capped entries, I received 9 submissions. Unfortunately, only 4 perfectly adhered to the rules and at the same time they submitted outstanding entries, so the same participants will receive the MLX I got from rule-breakers which is 340k plus the 750k from the 3 unfilled spots. Each will receive an additional of 272,500 mlx:

For those who are curious about where deductions occurred, please take a moment to review your entries and revisit the guidelines I provided. Common reasons for deductions included:
1. Failing to use the correct mention:
2. Failing to include the required additional hashtag
3. Attachment mistakes: No “X” mark over the phrase; Username and hashtag not outside the frame; hashtag not written as it is.

TOTAL PAYOUT: 3,000,000 MLX

1. If you could erase one memory, would you erase it?
Yes, I would erase the memory of trusting someone in the past. It hurts when I remember how someone betrayed me.
2. What would that memory be—or why don’t you feel you need to erase anything?
It’s the memory of trusting someone who was only playing with my emotions. I want to erase it, but my past keeps coming back to me—how they spoke lovingly to me, and later I realized they said the same things to others too.
3. What does this memory do to you now?
This memory affects me deeply. For a few moments, I go back into that painful past and feel the same hurt again.
4. Why would you erase it—or why wouldn’t you?
I would erase it because anything that gives pain is better to forget.
5. If you couldn’t erase it, what would you prefer to do with it instead?
If I can’t erase it, I will try to handle it by forgetting and reminding myself that a person learns from their mistakes.

1. Would I erase a memory?
Maybe.....just "only parts of it"
Not the whole memory - just the pieces that still sting when I least expect it.

2. What would that memory be?
It's not one specific moment, but a collection of times when I feel unheard and underestimated.

3. What does it do to me now?
It doesn't hurt the same way, but it lingers quietly - like a reminder of who I used to be and what I tolerated. Sometimes it still makes me pause and question myself but it also shows me how much I've grown.

4. Why I wouldn't erase the whole thing?
I wouldn't erase it completely, because those moments shaped my strength and boundaries.

5. What would I prefer to do with it instead?
Instead of erasing it I'd prefer to REFRAME it - keep the lesson, but let go of the weight.

If I could erase one memory, would I erase it?
No.
What would that memory be—or why don’t I feel the need to erase anything?
I don’t feel the need to erase anything, because every memory—good or bad—has played a role in shaping who I am today.
What does this memory (or lack of one to erase) do to me now?
Some memories still hurt a little, some are embarrassing, and some are peaceful. But all of them feel like quiet reminders rather than heavy burdens.
Why wouldn’t I erase it?
Because even painful memories carry lessons. They’ve taught me strength, patience, and understanding. Removing them would feel like removing a part of my growth.
If I couldn’t erase it, what would I prefer to do with it instead?
I choose to accept my memories and learn from them. I try to turn them into something meaningful instead of something that weighs me down.

If I could erase one memory, my answer would be no. I wouldn’t change a single thing.
I look at my life like a book. Even the sad or messy chapters are important. If I tore those pages out, the story of "me" wouldn't make sense anymore. My "bad" memories are actually my best teachers. They taught me how to be strong, how to set boundaries, and how to appreciate the good times. Without the "cringe" moments, I wouldn’t be humble. Without the pain, I wouldn’t know what real happiness feels like.
Today, those memories don’t hurt anymore. They are like old scars—I can see them, but they don't sting. Sometimes a memory makes me blush for a second, but then I realize how much I have grown since then.
I refuse to erase them because I worked too hard for the wisdom I have now. If I deleted my mistakes, I might become arrogant. If I deleted my heartbreaks, I might lose my kindness toward others. My memories are my compass; they help me make better choices today.
Instead of trying to "delete" the past, I "archive" it. I look at my younger self with kindness, like a character in a movie. I might not agree with everything she did, but I understand her. I keep every memory as a reminder that I can survive hard things. I am keeping my full story because every part of it led me to who I am today.

Here's my Entry 🥰 🥰

1️⃣. Would I erase one memory?
👉👉 No… I don’t think I would.

2️⃣. What memory would it be—or why not?
There are moments I wish had gone differently—small failures, awkward silences, things I said at the wrong time. But nothing I feel the need to completely delete.

3️⃣. What does it do to me now?
Some memories still echo a little when I think about them, but mostly they’ve softened with time. They don’t hurt—they remind me.

4️⃣. Why wouldn’t I erase it?
Because even the uncomfortable parts shaped how I react, how I understand people, and how I understand myself. If I erase the moment, I might erase the growth that came with it too.

5️⃣. If I couldn’t erase it, what would I do instead?
I would let it stay as a quiet lesson—something that no longer controls me, just something I’ve already survived and moved past.

I’m a bit puzzled. You put  “ Moments I overthink ”  inside the frame, but from your answer, it sounds like you wouldn’t erase anything—almost like you’re okay with overthinking. Can you help me understand that part better?

Good question—I didn’t mean I’d erase overthinking completely.
It’s natural and comes from caring. I just meant the moments where it takes over and messes with my peace.
So not removing it—just learning to handle it better 🤍

Your reflection is great, but next time the label inside the frame should match your Yes/No/“nothing to erase” choice a bit more directly.

If you could erase one memory, would you erase it?
Maybe — only parts of it.

What would that memory be—or why don’t you feel you need to erase anything?
It’s a moment where I felt misunderstood and said things I didn’t fully mean. I wouldn’t erase the whole memory, just the part where I reacted emotionally instead of calmly.

What does this memory do to you now?
It doesn’t hurt as much anymore, but it still makes me pause. It’s a quiet reminder more than an active pain.

Why would you erase it—or why wouldn’t you?
I wouldn’t erase it completely because it taught me how my words can affect others and how important it is to respond, not react.

If you couldn’t erase it, what would you prefer to do with it instead?
I’d keep it as a lesson. Instead of running from it, I’d use it to grow—like a checkpoint that helps me choose better next time.

1. If you could erase a memory, would you erase it?
→ Just parts of it.

2. What would that memory be — or why don't you think you need to erase anything?
→ That moment of "broken trust" when it all ended. Not the whole memory, but the pain and helplessness of the time.

3. What does this memory do to you now?
→ It doesn't haunt you every day anymore, but sometimes it creeps up on you at night. It's not shameful, it's just an openness.

4. Why would you erase it — or why wouldn't you?
→ Not the whole thing. Why didn't it make me stronger and wiser? It's not a burden.

5. If you can't erase it, what would you like to do with it?
→ I'll frame this as a reminder - not to trust blindly, but not to stop trusting people either. I've turned pain into strength.

Don't erase the entire memory, just erase its painful laughter.

There was a time when I trusted someone with all my heart, but later he broke

Now that memory comes back sometimes, but it doesn't bother me much.

I don't erase it because it made me stronger and wiser.

If it doesn't erase it, I accept it as a lesson.

Here is my response on given questions in the activity,

1. Would you erase one memory?
Honestly, I don’t feel the need to erase anything.

2. Why not?
Because every memory good or bad, has played a role in shaping who I am today. Even difficult moments carry lessons, strength, or awareness that I wouldn’t have otherwise.

3. What do those memories do to you now?
They don’t control me. Some may still have a little emotional weight, but mostly they sit quietly in the background like reminders, not wounds.

4. Why wouldn’t you erase it?
Erasing a memory might also erase the growth that came with it. I seemed to value acceptance over avoidance, and learning over escaping.

5. If you couldn’t erase it, what would you do instead?
I already seem to,
✔️Accept it
✔️Learn from it
✔️Let it pass without holding onto pain.

A simple way to express my overall
mindset could be,
I don’t need to erase my past , I’ve made peace with it, and I carry the lessons, not the weight.

Thank you so much.
