What is everyone’s experiences with Infinigrit? It’s been out for a decent amount of time now, if you’ve been playing with a Boomstik, how’ve you found the grit degradation?
Personally, I’ve been main-ing a Boomstik for about 3 months now. 3x a week, approx 2-3 hours each session. Now after 3 months I’d say it’s lost a noticeable amount of spin. Comparing my paddle to a new one and it’s noticeably smoother. When the paddle was new, I could hit my serves so hard, and be able to generate enough topspin to keep it in, but now I find myself hitting the ball out, and my shots being flatter. It’s not completely smooth, there’s still grit, but just noticeably less than brand new.
I’m now considering getting a new one, but it’s so expensive. Is this a reasonable amount of time for a paddle to last? I’ve never really used another paddle for this long to have reference.
