Memorial to Roman Vladychenko
34-year-old Roman Vladychenko, alias Tikhon, died on March 30, 2024, as a result of mortar shelling in the village of Avdiivske in the Donetsk region. They were able to say goodbye to him only in August 2025, when his body was returned to his native land.
Roman was born in the village of Selets, Zhytomyr region. Since 2019, he has lived in Zhytomyr with his wife, and was a manager for processing and picking orders at May Print LLC.
Roman loved active recreation, adored the forest, and went hunting since childhood. He also loved animals very much - there were two hunting dogs in the family.
During the full-scale war, the man became the senior line supervisor of the 1st Battalion of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade.
"Roma was a man of his word with a keen sense of justice. Reliable, balanced, intelligent and fair. He was an extremely loving and caring man," wrote his wife Kateryna.
He is survived by his mother, father, brother, wife, and son, who was born a month before his father's death.
