Hello internets. I am looking to set up a zipline for my kids on our farm. I want good quality and i want grown ups to be able to also ride the zipline. I am based in Norway. ( So this limits the availability of certain webshops as it costs an arm and a leg to have this shipped...). It also means that it will be outside in a harsh climate.
I am looking for a kid friendly version aimed at 10 year olds.
I have been googling for a while. And tried to find good alternatives. I found a websote called cable-ride.com which seems to operate out of belgium. They have kits which- judging by photos look decent. Does anyone have experience with them? Are they legit?
Or aee there any enthusiasts who have built their own that have a blueprint/ drawing/ shopping list? I have never assembled a zipline, i dont know much about safe angles/ gradients, brake zones, clearances.. i have done lots of other building projects and i have tools and machines so i know my way around a shed.
Some more farm info if it is helpful:
It is quite hilly here.
We have places (stable stone/rock ground) where we can build and secure platforms
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any other cool activity-builds i would also be interested in seeing this. (They love their trampoline, bikes, swings, balance games). #diy source
