Is this the correct ruling on a serve that hit the wrong receiver?
I had a situation during a doubles game and wanted to make sure I understand the rule correctly.
My partner was the correct receiver. The server accidentally served to **my** service box instead of my partner’s (the wrong diagonal). The ball hit me before bouncing, and the serving team claimed it was **their point** because the ball hit my body.
I thought this should be a **service fault** since the serve was directed to the wrong service court in the first place.
