When I first got the Shunbun, I thought the dial would be the star of the show. And while the dial is absolutely stunning, the more time I spend with it, the more I realize it’s everything else too.
The case design, the Zaratsu finishing, the sharp facets, the beautifully executed indices and hands, the way light dances across every surface, and of course the smooth Spring Drive sweep. Every detail feels thoughtfully crafted and works together to create something greater than the dial alone.
It’s one of those watches that keeps revealing new things the longer you own it, which is probably why I can’t stop looking at it.
