2014 Thanos and his army being snapped away created a branched timeline..
Some Russo brothers quotes I’ve collected:
"What you've been watching for the last four weeks… are not teasers. Or trailers. They are stories. They are clues… Pay attention."
"It’s critically important to re-release the movie, and, in fact, we’ll be re-releasing the film with footage that is set in the Doomsday story that we have added to Avengers: Endgame... it's an opportunity to create a bridge from Endgame to Doomsday in a very unique way"
"We can’t explain that as it’s part of the story. But there’s nobody else in the world who could play this character the way he’s about to."
Tony Starks funeral was straight after the battle at the Avengers complex. These 2 scenes along with all the other post credit scenes will help us understand how Endgame connects to Doomsday.
There is a branched timeline where Thanos and his army don’t exist after 2014. This not only creates a power vacuum, but also heavily disrupts that timeline.
What are the Russo brothers trying to show us with these clues?
